Our Mission
Why We Created This Scholarship
John McDonough established the Studemont Group in 2010 in Houston, Texas, bringing over 25 years of experience in financial services. This scholarship reflects the belief that has guided the firm from the beginning.
The Studemont Group Scholarship was created to help address the financial barriers that can limit educational opportunity. We want to make it a little easier for a motivated student to keep moving toward their goals — regardless of their field of study.
The Studemont Group was built on the belief that doing the right thing always leads to the best outcomes.
— John McDonough, Founder, Studemont Group
